OVERVIEW
The new PRINCE2 2009 update from the 2005 is scheduled to be launched at the end of June 2009 version. This project management course aims to familiarize students that have completed the Foundation or Practitioner courses with the new 2009 version and the fundamental changes incorporated therein.
The following fundamental changes have been made:
- The two introductions in the 2005 edition have been replaced with a single introduction
- A new chapter has been introduced to confirm the existing PRINCE2 “Principles”
- A new chapters that been introduced to describe “Tailoring PRINCE2 to the Project Environment”
- Components have been renamed as “Themes”, and reduced to seven themes.
- The processes have been updated and reduced to seven
- Techniques have been moved to become an integral part of the relevant theme
- Some appendices have been removed and new appendices added
TARGET AUDIENCE
This project management course has specifically been designed for students that have already completed the 2005 Foundation or Practitioner course.

Course delegates should refresh and ensure their knowledge PRINCE2 is current prior to attending the course.

DURATION & DELIVERY
This is an intensive one day project management course and no examination is required at the end of the course.
Delegates receive a course manual. The project management course is delivered as a presentation with summary discussions on the new changes.
The project management course may be delivered at our premises or alternatively we also tailor the course to be delivered in-house with adequate attendees.
